Death Valley_2023-Day 2

We were soooo excited to wake up and have breakfast at the golf course which, we thought, opened at 7:30.  Well, then we realized that both of us forgot to bring the underwear!!!  Well, if that was the worst of it, all is good.  But, breakfast didn’t open until 8:30!!  So, switch gears, let’s go out to breakfast.  What a luxury…Wait for it…our slide doesn’t go back in as it should :(…What to do?  After several attempts, it is still cattywompus.  Not sure what else to do, so we call our Roadside Assistance number.  No problem.  It will be about 90 minutes for a technician to come out and help us…2 hours later, we call the contact number for the technician…He says “not sure what you are talking about, did you call us?”  Yikes!  Back to square 1…So, about 2pm, the technician shows up.  Long story short, after 2 hours and much back and forth and repeating of the same actions that have the same results, he “forces” our slide to close.  This means we can now drive again, but our slide is definitely broken…So, we are staying another night at the golf course. We called a dealer in Las Vegas to see if they could help us.  Their soonest appointment is Feb 14.  Since we can still drive, we are planning to head to Death Valley tomorrow, and then on to Vegas for the rally and likely the service at the dealer there.  The adventure continues…
