Bodega Bay & Beyond

We decided to get out and play tourist today. There are two out of the norm attractions right near our campsite that we visited. One is a tribute of bells to a Bodega boy who died tragically in Italy and became a catalyst for a movement in Europe for organ donations - very poignant! Afterwards, we went by the church where Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds was filmed, less moving, but still a point of interest. Then, on to our continuing hunt for new library cards. Today’s targets were Sonoma County and Napa County. As an added bonus, the roads just meander through lush rolling hills of wildflowers and grapevines. It was a beautiful day for a drive. We ended our travels with Nan getting some oysters and a lobster roll. Not a bad day…
