Bodega Bay Cont’d

Typically, Nan and I have a weekly competition where whichever of wins the cumulative golf competition for the week (The Omelette Bowl) makes the other an ‘omelette’ on Sunday. Well, we were busy on Sunday and Monday was a travel day, so, today was the day. Nan made me a wonderful fried egg sandwich (an appropriate substitute for the omelette) - cooked outdoors while we were entertained by the dock workers and overlooked the Marina - just perfect! Then, it was some DuEtte maintenance and down time for the rest of the day. While driving into the Marina, the driver (Jeanette) took a corner too tightly and clipped a pine tree. This was evidenced by the pine needles hanging off of the RV that Nan was quick to point out. So, one of today’s duties was to climb on the roof and inspect the damage. Luckily, there was no damage, just a few pine sprigs stuck under a solar panel - phew! But, another reason to be thankful for the last minute add on to the RV of the external ladder. While not as windy as yesterday here in Bodega Bay, it is still pretty windy. But, we are hunkered down with full hookups, so all is good…
